Responsibilities
- Take ownership of web responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external team members
- Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions
- Create and maintain a database of design assets
- Align client website design with the organization’s brand, strategy and standards
- Complete tests to ensure website efficiency and quality
- Create strategies to improve website traffic
- Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws and regulations
- Evaluate competitors’ websites
- Follow industry best practices
- Identify ways to improve website user experience
- Implement security measures to protect websites
- Manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns (including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, etc.)
- Monitor for website security breaches and respond to them as needed
- Reply to, troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Liaison with outside contractor to evaluate SEO tactics and strategy and make suggestions while learning alongside
- Ensure SEO communications and deliverables are tracked and completed in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- An understanding of PPC, display advertising, remarketing, etc.
- Social media and email marketing experience a plus
- Demonstrates ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Excellent time-management skills
- Awareness of UI/UX principles
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrates ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with all levels and departments on a formal, informal, written and verbal basis
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work in a team environment
- Proficiency in WordPress
- Preferred knowledge of other content management systems such as Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, etc.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with digital marketing tools including (or equivalent): Google Ads (certification strongly desired), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.
